How to Ungroup Objects in Illustrator

Learning how to ungroup objects in Illustrator is one of the necessary functions of using the program. Grouping objects is just as important.

How to Ungroup Objects in Illustrator

Depending on the type of group, right-click on the group of objects and select Ungroup.

If your group of objects is actually a clipping mask, you’ll need to ungroup the clipping mask. You can do this by right-clicking on the clipping mask and selecting Release Clipping Mask.
